Our Mission
Our Mission Statement
- To benefit the community through instruction on ecological sustainability, healthy communities, and their individual choices and their effects on the planet
- To fundraise and write grants for habitat restoration and environmental conservation, printing handouts, purchasing seeds and plants, related books and guidelines, organizing community engagement, and other related activities
- To provide opportunities for participants to engage in education (advocacy), grassroots organizing, and community hands-on activities (Habitat restoration, plants/seeds swaps, etc)
- To build partnerships and connections with other like-minded organizations and entities to participate in other environmental and sustainability activities
- To encourage the protection, preservation, and conservation of natural resources, native plants, wildlife, and natural spaces
Our history
Long before we became a 501(c)(3), dedicated neighbors were out in the field removing invasive plants and planting natives. Many of those same volunteers are still with EarthWellRX today, working to restore and strengthen our community.
Our volunteers
Our volunteers include people from all walks of life — some with years of experience, others just learning what an invasive plant is. No matter their background, each one plays a vital role in restoring our community’s natural spaces.
